KLEFR energy meters can be used in residential as well as commercial photovoltaic systems. The meter measures the generated kilowatt hours after the inverter has transformed the generated DC power into AC electricity. The KLEFR meter also indicates the instantaneous values of the system like the voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, frequency and power factor. The MID certified KLEFR meter ensures accurate energy measurement (class 1/B) and can be used for billing purposes.

Bi-directional measurement

KLEFR meters measure the (re)active energy values in forward and reverse direction and are therefore perfectly suitable for photovoltaic systems. Calculation of the total energy is based on the calculation code. This code can be set to forward only (brake function), reverse only, forward+reverse, reverse-forward or forward-reverse. The imported and exported (re)active energy values are also available per phase and per tariff.

Integration and configuration

KLEFR offers the perfect (MID) metering solution for photovoltaic systems. The complete range of single- and three phase meters is available with Modbus, M-bus or S0 interface for communication. The wide range of MID certified meters can be integrated in any system to work with any inverter or datalogger. Configuration can be done manually and with a Modbus, M-bus or infrared command. It is also possible to order the meters pre-configured at MOQ’s.
